You may have taken FMA’s Florida Physician Cannabis Course developed prior to the effective date of SB 8-A in the 2017 special session. However, in this webinar participants will receive updated information and get answers to important questions regarding how SB 8-A impacts your practice.
The webinar is approximately 60 minutes and is being offered at two times, which are listed in Eastern Standard Time. Participants will be able to send questions to the email address provided in the webinar. The webinar is not mandatory and is for informational purposes only.

FLSCP Appoints New Executive Director
FLSCP is pleased to announce that Ron Watson has been appointed to the role of Executive Director. Mr. Watson is the founder and CEO of Watson Strategies, a full service lobbying firm specializing in health care related legislation. He has over 25 years of experience in Florida’s political, regulatory and lobbying arenas with specific focus on government and major healthcare associations.
During this time, he developed close relationships with executive, legislative and regulatory leadership throughout Florida government. He has a comprehensive knowledge of the laws, rules, budgets and regulations concerning medical, dental, pharmaceutical, tort reform and insurance issues. He also has extensive political involvement with patient advocacy and grassroots organizations, as well as organizing and managing political action committees make him invaluable to FLSCP and all medical marijuana advocates.

FLSCP Announces New Medical Advisory Board Member:  Sasha Noe, DO

FLSCP is pleased to announce that Dr. Sasha Noe has joined its Board of Directors and will serve as the Chair of the Medical Advisory Committee!

Sasha Noe, DO, PhD, is a dual doctorate, board-certified, award winning, family physician and researcher and one of America’s leading Medical Cannabis Physicians with extensive expertise in chronic disease management, preventative health, cannabinoid research, and medical cannabis. She regularly educates, advocates and consults on the medicinal benefits and uses of cannabis.

As the only known physician in the United States with a PhD in the specific field of molecular cannabinoid research, Dr. Noe’s award winning research has contributed towards the advancement of the therapeutic potential of cannabis over the past two decades and has been referenced worldwide in numerous scholarly articles and books.

Dr. Noe’s credentials include:
